History

A legend wants that " Ramonville" comes from Raymond: Raymond IV Count de Toulouse would have had a castle on the heights of the slopes not far from the current commune of Ramonville. He would have baptized the place with his name when he crossed it while leaving in Croisade in 1096. The toponym pourait however to be of franque origin or wisighote and to be former to the counts Raymond.

The brook " Saint-Agne" is a limit of parroisse of Toulouse, and its name refers to saint Aignan, owner of Orleans which in 451 delivered its city besieged by Attila.

The most famous corner of Ramonville is the farm of fifty, which are an old farm of an religious order whose rent was of 50 Volaille S each year, and the channel between two seas, built by Pierre-Paul Riquet, which is classified World heritage by UNESCO.
