Ramla

Ramla (in Hebrew: רמלה Ramlāh ; in Arab: الرملة rear-Ramlah ) is an Israeli city and the administrative capital of the District Centers. The population of the city rises in 2004 with 63.462 inhabitants (according to the Israeli office of the statistics) and is made up to 80% of Juifs, Arab 16% of Musulmans and to 4% of Arab Christians. It should be noted that there exists a minority of Karaites.

It is thought that it is old the Arimathée or Arimathie .
