Ramesh Sippy

Ramesh Sippy is a producing Réalisateur and Indian, primarily known for its film Sholay . He is the son of the producer G.P. Sippy, and his/her son Rohan Sippy is also realizer and producer. His/her Sheena daughter is married with the son of Shashi Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor. He even married twice, the second with the actress Kiran Juneja.

Ramesh was immersed very young person in the universe of the cinema: six years old hardly he traversed the decorations of the film Sazaa , the first of his father. At nine years, it held the role of the son of Achala Sachdev in Shahenshah . He worked simultaneously with the production and the realization of several films like Johar-Mehmood in Goa and Mere Sanam , at the sides of his father. After seven years spent as assistant, it directed Andaaz in 1969. Success was with go of its second film, Seeta Aur Geeta in 1972.

In 1975, it carried out Sholay , which was to become one of greatest successes of the history of the film bollywood. Thereafter, it directed Shaan (1980) and Shakti (1982) also very popular and considered as the traditional ones of the kind.

Its last film is Zamaana Deewana in 1995. It also carried out televised series with success, Buniyaad , with for like first role Mazhar Khan.
