Ramariaceae

Ramariaceae is the name given to a family of Champignon S Basidiomycète S, also called Clavaire S or “ramal” (because of their form in branches ). They evoke almost all the structure of a small tree, whose branches all would be upwards directed.

They are called " Coral fungus" (mushroom - coral) by the Anglo-Saxons because of his resemblance to certain corals.

This family colonized all the continents.

Except some exceptions, marketed in certain countries, these mushrooms are considered not-edible or without culinary interest.

They play a part very important in the forest as a ectomycorrhizic.
