Ramón Novarro

Ramón Novarro ( Juan Ramón Gil Samaniego ) was an actor, realizer, scenario writer, producer and Mexican type-setter born the February 6th 1899 with Durango (Mexico), deceased the October 30th 1968 with North Hollywood (California).

Biography

Its family left Mexico for Los Angeles because of the Mexican Révolution. Ramon Novarro started to work as actor for Cecil B. DeMille in 1916. One desired to make of it a rival of Rudolph Valentino. After the expiry of its contract with MGM in 1935, its incomes fall. Novarro always had problems with its condition of homosexual catholic

It was assassinated by two homosexual that it had invited at his place to have sexual relationships. They asphyxiated it and reflect with bag its house in order to find a possible fortune hidden. It is buried with the cemetery of Calvary in Los Angeles.
