Rakim

William Michael Griffin , alias Rakim , is a Rap fear, born the January 28th 1968 with Wyandanch in the State of New York.

Very young person already it is impassioned for groups such as Cold Crush Four, Fantastic Five, Grandmaster Flash. Kool Moe Dee and Miss Mel remains her major sources of inspiration for its first recordings. Eric B. & Rakim who were among the precursors in the Années 1980 of the current movement hip hop (as well as Run DMC). Their sound dissociates current products by a less aggressiveness and a music research like I Know You Got Soul or Paid In Full (one of their best successes) which kept the Groove and the feeling of the Années 1980. The rappor converts with the Islam in 1984. Rakim is called the " God of Rap " .
