Ustad Alla Rakha (April 29th 1919 - February 3rd 2000) is one of the large Masters of Tablâ, one of the principal percussions of the Musique hindoustanie. He is regarded as one of the largest players of Tablâ of the 20th century. He often accompanied the Sitar ist Ravi Shankar. Alla Rakha was born has Pagwal, a village of the Jammu, in India, the elder one of seven brothers. As of its childhood, he dissociates himself by his attraction pronounced for the music.
