Raimbaut de Vaqueiras
Raimbaut of Vaqueiras is born in 1180 or 1155 (according to the source which one uses), he lived in Italy where he was one of the first Troubadour S. He liked to sing in connection with the Amour and in much of different languages, often its songs had more than one language. He became soldier, companion of the marquis Boniface de Montferrat and cross Chevalier; its " letter épique" is a primary source for the life of Boniface and the first year of the Latin Empire of Constantinople. It is thought that he died during a battle meadows of Thessalonique in 1207.
Among the heroes of his poems, one can mention André of France, in love with a queen.
