Railteam is a launched railway alliance European on July 2nd, 2007 in Brussels.

Its objective is to exploit joint the network of lines at high speed and to offer on a European scale a service of also good quality and as competitive as as each member offers already to the national scales. For that, Railteam planned to set up platforms of correspondence, with the manner of the airline companies, in five station-pivot: Lille Europe, Brussels Midday, Cologne, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

Points of information will be installed in these five platforms, then gradually in the principal stations of the Railteam network: Parisian London, Amsterdam, stations TGV, Strasbourg.

Legal status

Railteam is a company of Dutch right.

Its capital is distributed in the following way between the seven partners:

  • dB and the SNCF, 25% each one,
  • other partners: 10% each one.
Other partners could be co-opted in the future.
