Railroad subway-North
The Subway-North Railroad is a Suburban train which connects New York to its periphery and the neighboring state of the Connecticut. The Subway-North has thus stations with Wassaic, Poughkeepsie, Port Jervis, and Spring Valley in the State of New York and with New Canaan, Danbury, Waterbury, and New Haven in the Connecticut. The North Subway proposes also a local service road in the Bronx, like with Manhattan.
The North Subway is managed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which manage also the New York City Transit (drunk) and the New York City Subway (subway of New York), and the Long Island Railroad. MTA baptized the Subway North MTA Subway-North Railroad . Moreover, in October 2002, MTA announced a merger plan between the Subway-North and LIRR to form a single baptized company MTA Rail Road , however, the MTA did not obtain the approval of the town of New York in April 2006.
