Rail-car Hope
The rail-car Espérance is a tourist train created in 1997 pertaining to the the SNCF which connects Bergerac (Gare of Bergerac) to Sarlat-la-Canéda (Gare of Sarlat-la-Canéda) of which the length of the course is of 69 km. Crossing the Black Périgord while passing by Lalinde, the castle of Beynac, the Castle of Castelnaud-the-Vault and the castle of Marqueyssac and Fayrac, it leads to Sarlat-la-Canéda (14th tourist city of France with 1,5 million visitors per annum). It is possible to taste on board products of the soil, the Vin of Bergerac and toasts to the Foie gras.
