Raffia

The raffia is a fiber coming from the sheets of a Palmier the Raffia ruffia (Raffia will farinifera) originating in Madagascar. the sheets can reach 25m on 4m.
The raffia is a fiber very solid Textile, rope S, bonds and furnishing fabric. With Madagascar, it is used for example to manufacture the Jabo-landy.
