Raffi Torres

Raphael " Raffi" Torres (born the October 8th 1981 with Toronto, Ontario with the Canada) is a player of professional Hockey of the National league of hockey evolving/moving with the Oilers d' Edmonton.

Career of player

In 1998, it begins its career with the Battalion de Brampton in the rows junior (OHL). It was fished out by the Islanders of New York at the time of the RepĂȘchage of entry in the LNH 2000, with the 5th position. From 2001, Torres disputed its first two professional seasons at the same time in the National league of hockey with Islanders and in the American Ligue of hockey with the Sound Tigers de Bridgeport.

At the time of the season 2002-03, Islanders exchanged it in Oilers d' Edmonton, with Brad Isbister, in return of the defender Janne Niinimaa.

At the time of the lockout in the LNH during the season 2004-05, Torres played with the club-school of Oilers, the Roadrunners d' Edmonton.
