Rafael Wenceslao Núñez Moledo , born on September 28th, 1825 with Cartagena de Indias (Carthagène), deceased on September 18th, 1894 is an author and Colombian politician. It was president of the Colombian Republic of 1880 to 1882 and 1884 to 1888 as a member of the Colombian Conservative party. It was the force behind the movement of Regeneración (Régénération) of 1884 and the new constitution of Colombia of 1886. Moreover, he is the author of the words of the National anthem of Colombia, ¡ inmarcesible Oh gloria! adoptee officially in 1946.

The airport of Carthagène in Colombia bears its name.
