Rafael Fonteriz is a Spanish draftsman of cartoon.

Biography

He worked on the Spanish market on Iberia Inc. and Effecto Domino inter alia.

It also carried out erotic stories, some published in the United States by Fantagraphics in 1933 in XXX Women #1-3.

On the US market, it drew a history scenarized by Barry Dutter in Marvel Comics Presents #169 in 1994 and especially a mini-series in 4 episodes Nocturne (no bond with the girl of the characters of X-Men Diablo (X-Men) of the same name) scenarized by daN Abnett in 1995.

Rafa Fonteriz also drew, for Dude Comics in Spain, part of the Carmilla of Roy Thomas (according to Joseph Sheridan Fanu).

Its last project in date is the series Avatar scenarized by Juan Miguel Aguilera, whose two volumes are already appeared, originally published by SAF Comics and translated into France by Erko.
