Radu V of Afumaţi

Radu of Afumaţi is prince of Valachie to three recoveries in the years 1522 - 1525.

Wire illegitimate of Radu {{IV}} concealment Pond, its reign is only one long combat against the applicant of the Famille of Danesti, Vladislav {{III}}, supported by Turkish, with whom it alternates on the throne.

Elected official prince in February 1522 it is reversed in April 1523 by Vladislav {{III}} and is imprisoned in Constantinople. He takes again his place against a tribute of: 14000 ducats of the January 19th to the June 16th 1524 then of September 1524 to the April 19th 1525. It occupies last once the throne of August 1525 to its death. It must also face his brother Radu {{VI}} Bădica, prince between November 1523 and January 1524.

It is killed the January 2nd 1529 with his Vlad oldest son at the time of a combat against the revolted boyards.

Radu married:

  • Voica, girl of Jupan and Vornic Vlad de Bucsani, of which it had Vlad, killed with his/her father the January 2nd 1529,

  • Ruxandra Basaraba, girl of Neagoe Basarab {{V}}, of which it had Radu {{VIII}} Ilias Haidăul, prince de Valachie.
