Radio France

Radio France is a company of Public service which manages the public Radio stations in France like several musical formations.

The company took again in January 1975 the radiophonic activities of the ex- ORTF. The regional activities were integrated at Radio France only on January 1st, 1983. Its activity began on January 6th, 1975. In the beginning, Radio France Internationale belonged to the state enterprise, but the law Léotard of 1986 created a distinct company.

History:

It is the result of the bursting of ORTF in 7 independent public companies in 1974.

The company:

  • Its seat is the Maison de Radio France, located 116 avenue du Président-Kennedy at Paris 16th.

  • Radio France with also of the studios located 78 allée Jean Jaurès 31000 Toulouse, for its radio Mouv'
Its current president is Jean-Paul Cluzel, former president of RFI, which succeeded Jean-Marie Cavada on May 12th, 2004.
