Radical-citizen-green

The group Radical-citizen-green was a parliamentary Groupe French which gathered, of 1997 with 2002, the deputies of five small formations of the plural Majorité, alliance of the left and the ecologists which supported the government of Lionel Jospin.

This group included/understood:

Convergence Ecology Solidarity, started from No5el Mamère, having amalgamated with the Greens in 1998, the group without losing members gathered nothing any more but four parties of the majority one year after the beginning of mandature.

Under the terms of an agreement between the components of the group, the three successive presidents are three radicals: Michel Crépeau, Roger-Gerard Schwartzenberg and Bernard Charles. Group RCV was not renewed in 2002. The general secretary of the group, Coly Jean-Wolf, is resulting from the MDC, and the Green Yves Cochet is indicated vice-president of the National Assembly under the RCV. On the other hand, Jean-Pierre Michel does not obtain the presidency of the Commission of the laws.

In 2002, radicals one more but 8 deputies, Greens more than three, while the current chevenementist is eliminated from the National Assembly: the group is thus not renewed and its former members are distributed between the groups Socialist, Communist or choose to sit among the independents.
