Its family was a family of farmers and craftsmen popular, being her mother tisseuse and her father a wood-carver. As soon as it was small Nedelchev was impassioned for the drawing.

When it was fifteen years old, after an argument with his father, it left the house to go to the coast of the Black Sea, where it will survive by completing various work. With old eighteen years it was to achieve its three years military service. At the end of the service, it decided to fit in a new public school of art in Rousse where it will know the painter Marko Monev with whom a studio will divide.

In 1963 Nedelchev and Monev travelled throughout rural Bulgaria, while outlining and drawing, and while trying to also know other artists during their voyages. At this time, in Bulgaria, the historical conditions of the peasants were going to be transformed by a process of collectivization, and Nedelchev and Monev realized that they assisted with the decline of the certain habits and traditions. In 1964 the two friends again finish their voyages on the Danube, where Nedelchev started to live and with painter with the studio of the artist Trifon Nikolov.

After that Nedelchev will make several exposures and he will visit Paris by the first time, even if the communist authorities expressed clearly that this visit was a privilege.

In the same way, the lack of access to the professional galleries of exposure of Occident and to the market of art will prevent Nedelchev from following a career the made-to-order of any other Western artist. In any case, the work of Nedelchev will be introduced into collections private and corporative, like in the hands of several ambassadors and politicking foreign, such as for example, Krupp Corporation (German), the Bhabha Atomic Research Center (of India) and the ex Prime Minister of China Li Peng.
