Radebeul
Radebeul is a German city in the district of Meissen in Saxony. Radebeul is right beside the capital saxonne Dresden in the world heritage, the Valley of the Elba.
Geography
Radebeul counts 33.000 inhabitants and its population is in growth. The city is known for its Vin and its Villa S. the city is close to Moritzburg, a small village known because of its castle of hunting baroque of August der Starke (Auguste says the Fort), a famous duke/king of the Saxony and Poland.
Tourism
Radebeul is known with the international level because the writer Karl May lived a long time there. The majority of the tourists coming with Radebeul choose Radebeul like meanly for days with the capital saxonne Dresden, the old episcopal city of Meissen or with the mountains of the Suisse Saxonne. Via tram line 4 the majority of the 10 districts of Radebeul are well connected to Dresden and between them. The vineyards of Radebeul are located at the slopes of north of the valley of Elba, just with the Street vigneronne of Saxony which binds one of the area of vineyards more to North in Europe. For its splendid panorama, its villas, the old farms and the extraordinarily soft climate, one calls it also the " Nice saxonne". Moreover, the city is appreciated like residence of retirement, for that one finds approximately 250 millionaires there.
Economy
There are several industries with Radebeul, even if the city is rather tourist. Radebeul has the the lowest Unemployment rate in East Germany. There are even the departments of the first of Rolls Royce and Ferrari in East Germany. Most important industries are the mechanical engineering industry and the drug company. But also agribusiness industry (wine, sugar refineries) has importance for economic success of this city.
