Rad53

rad53 is the Protéine mechanism of monitoring ( checkpoint ) of the Réplication at budding yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae . She does not play any part when the replication is normal. Rad53 prevents only the cell which the fork of replication met a problem. It coordinates the mechanisms of repair then and slows down the phase S to make it possible the cell to finish its replication before the entry in mitosis. This mechanism of monitoring thus makes it possible the cell to completely retort its genome before redistributing it with the two cell-girls. The cell thus ensures the maintenance of the integrity of its genome.
