Rachid Solh

Rachid Solh is a Politician Lebanon board, member of one of the principal families sunnites of the country. He is elected appointed of Beirut in the years 1960 and is named by the president Soleimane Frangié Prime Minister in 1974. He resigns in 1975 a few weeks after the release of the Lebanese civil war.

Following the resignation of the government of Omar Karamé in May 1992, the president Elias Hraoui charges it with forming a government to organize the first legislative elections of post-war period. These elections will be marked by a massive fraud and a Boycott to which the main forces and Christian personalities of the country called.

It preserves its station of deputy until in 1996, but was withdrawn since political action, having no significant popularity.
