Rachel Dratch

Rachel Susan Dratch (February 22nd 1966) is an actress and American actress better known to have made party of the distribution of Saturday Night Live between 1999 with 2006.

Biography

Dratch was born with Lexington (Massachusetts) and is graduate Dartmouth College in 1988 in theater and psychology.

SNL

In 1999, Rachel Dratch joint with the team of SNL as minor player to reach itself the statute of actress of the repertory in 2001. Its recurring character most known is Debbie Downer, a woman with the stoical personality always finding the means of weighing down the atmosphere of his pars. The first appearance of Debbie Downer was memorable since almost all the actors had difficulty in keep their serious.

30 Rock'n'roll

Dratch left SNL after the season 2005-2006 to join Tina Fey which set up the situation comedy at NBC 30 Rock'n'roll. Whereas at beginning Dratch was to play the character of Jenna, the best friend of the principal protagonist, Jane Krakowski replaced it whereas the distribution was worked over again. On the other hand, Dratch appears in almost each episode, changing character according to the needs for the scenario.
