Rachel Carson

Rachel Louise Carson , born with Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania the May 27th 1907 and died of a cancer the April 14th 1964 is a Zoologiste and famous Biologiste.

Biography

It is known to have published in 1962 a book, Silent Spring (" Spring silencieux"), which showed some Pesticide S to be dangerous for the birds and the man. Rachel Carson auditioned in front of the Congress after the publication of its book, which would have contributed to launch the movement ecologist in the world. It had a very strong influence with the the United States where it pushed the elected officials to establish new laws on the authorization of the pesticides.
