Race Metadata Description

CDM (Race Metadata Description) is an initiative towards standardization on a European scale of the offer of formation of the establishments of higher education.

The CDM-Fr is the variation French of this standard, applicable to the formations of French higher education, in initial training or continuous.

CDM-Fr thus makes it possible to present:

  • the program of studies;

  • units of teaching;
  • establishment responsible for the organization and the course of the programs of studies and the courses;
  • the actors who intervene in the Gestion, the organization and course of the programs of studies and the courses…
Information presenting the programs of studies in a structured and homogeneous way is seized in the establishments or is extracted from their information system. They can then be diffused by the establishments and be published on varied supports (XML, HTML, pdf,…).
