Raúl Díaz Arce is a Football or El Salvador IEN born the 1970 with San Miguel (El Salvador). He is the holder of the record of the number of goal in national team of the El Salvador with 39 goals in 55 meetings.
Diaz Arce played for the team of the second Salvadorian division Dragon of 1988 to 1991, then at summer transferred to the club from the first Salvadorian division from the CD Shine Angel Firpo where it with played of 1991 to 1996, marking a total of 150 goals lasting this period, including 25 during the season 1995-96.
In 1996, Diaz Arce signed with the MLS, and it was chosen by D.C. United in tenth total position for the draft of opening of season of the MLS. It quickly appeared like a dangerous striker in this league, marking 23 goals for its first season with D.C. United, finishing second striker of the league behind Roy Lassiter, with these statistics he is always the fifth best striker in one season of the history of MLS. Diaz Arce continued to shine during his second season, recording 15 goals, and helping D.C. United to gain their second consecutive title of champion of MLS.

United to transfer to New England Revolution this striker from most prolific from the league during the intersaison from 1997.
