RTL 4 is a Television channel private commercial general practitioner Luxembourg with international diffusion emitting in direction of the televiewers Dutch.
History of the chain
Veronica Rundfunks and CLT creates RTL Veronique on October 2nd 1989 to emit towards the Netherlands, whereas only the three public television channels are authorized. Diffused since the Luxembourg and having a licience of Luxembourg diffusion, the chain circumvents the monopoly thus.In June 1990, the chain takes the name of RTL 4 to be located following the three public channels and engages an important advertizing campaign to announce it ( Zet 'm COp 4! ).
