RSA Security is a company registered with NASDAQ pertaining to EMC since the September 14th 2006. Its Head office is with Bedford, with the Massachusetts, and the company has offices in Ireland, with the the United Kingdom, Singapore and the Japan.

History
Initially, its name was Security Dynamics . This one acquired RSA Data Security in 1996 and DynaSoft AB in 1997. In 2001 it acquired Xcert International, Inc. , a private company which had developed electronic certificates for the safety of the transactions of E-business. The same year, it acquired another private company, 3-G International, Inc. , which had developed products connected to the smart cards and the Authentification by Biométrie.
