RMS Carpathia

The RMS Carpathia was a transatlantic liner pertaining to the company Cunard Line. The ship, built by the building sites Swan Hunter, made its inaugural voyage in 1903, of Liverpool to New York via Queenstown.

The Carpathia became famous for the part which he played at the time of the catastrophe of the Titanic . It was indeed the first ship to be gone on the spot of the shipwreck and it was him which collected the survivors (711 passengers and team members).

The ship was torpedoed the July 17th 1918 by a German submarine.
