RB1 (gene)
RB1 is the Gène Rétinoblastome, located on the long arm of the chromosome 13 (13q14). It codes a Protéine suppressor of tumor which controls the cellular cycle. When the gene is inactivated by change of both Allèle S, the cell multiplication is not controlled any more, which leads to a cellular proliferation.
