The R507 is a mixture of 1,1,1-Trifluoroéthane (50%) and of Pentafluoroéthane (50%).

  • Gas

    under the atmospheric conditions

  • Colorless
  • Non flammable
  • Odor: slightly éthérée
  • This fluid belongs to the family of the Hydrofluorocarbone S (HFC)

The R507 belongs to the various refrigerating fluids used in the world of the Froid industrialist.

This one, in conformity with the new European directives for the protection of the Environment, in particular for the protection of the layer of ozone, is very volatile and practically odorless. It is thus to handle with precautions.

The R507 is used as refrigerating fluid for applications of negative cold as for the operation of artificial skating rinks.
