Röhss museum

The museum Röhss (in Swedish: Röhsska museet för konsthantverk och design ) with Gothenburg in Sweden is a museum dedicated to the Design and the applied arts. It was created thanks to the donations of Vihelm and August Röhss and opened to the public in 1916. It has had for increased summer. The museum has an interesting collection of craft industry Chinese and a permanent exposure of Swedish Design being spread out beginning of the 20th century until our days. The exposure of Kaffe Fassett one of was visited these last years.

The new director of the Röhss museum in 2007 is Ted Hesselbom which directed the policy of the museum towards the fashion and its history.

The Röhss museum was built between 1910 and 1914 in a romantic style nationalist by Carl Westman.
