Río Tambo
The Río Tambo is a river of the Peru which belongs to the Amazonian Bassin.
Río Tambo is born from the Confluence (11°09' 56" S - 74°14' 07" W) of the Perennial Río and the Río Ene, close the locality of Puerto Prado, with 400 m with the top of the sea level.
The course of the river is directed towards the east during 70 km in the south-east of the Gran Pajonal then towards north. Its overall length is of 159 km.
Río Tambo joins the Río Urubamba close to the town of Atalaya (10°41' 57" S - 73°45' 22" W), to 287 m with the top of the sea, to form the Río Ucayali.
