Río Huallaga

The Río Huallaga is a river of the Peru which is born in the the Andes. The river names initially Huánuco, of the name of the city which it sprinkles, place chief of the Région of Huánuco. It takes the name of Huallaga with Muna. It crosses the area of Huánuco, then that of San Martín, then penetrates in that of Loreto. There, it is thrown in the Río Marañon, one of the main branches of the the Amazon, close to the locality of Puntilla.

The length of its course is of 800 km.
