Réticulocytose
The réticulocytose expresses the number of Réticulocyte S in circulating blood, it is provided by the examination of the blood cells called Hémogramme.
The réticulocytes are young people érythrocyte S (or globules red), coldly left the osseous Moëlle. The rate of réticulocytes thus translates the activity of the medullary érythropoïèse, i.e. the intensity of the production of red globules.
Normally, they account for 0.5 to 2% of the full number of red globules, that is to say 50 + 25x10*9 réticulocytes per liters, for a normal rate of Hémoglobine. Indeed, in the event of Anemia and by fall of the hemoglobinemy, the production of red globules and thus the réticulocytose must increase to compensate.
- If it is the case (réticulocytose > 150x10*9), one speaks about regenerative anemia,
- if it is not the case (réticulocytose < 100x10*9), one speaks about anemia nonregenerative or arégénérative what makes mention a medullary problem.
