Répons
A let us répons is in the beginning a song alternated between a soloist and a chorus, used in a liturgical office, and taking part in particular of the Gregorian chant.
This very traditional form was also used at the 20th century, for example by Pierre Boulez in Répons or by Francis Poulenc in Seven Répons of darkness .
