Rémy Trudel

Rémy Trudel (Holy-Thècle, April 20th, 1948 in Quebec -) is a politician Québécois and former minister pequist in the governments Bouchard and Landry. He was elected appointed with the election of 1989 and was read again in 1994 and Québécois General election of 1998 before being demolishes in 2003.

Biography

Studies and beginning of career

Rémy Trudel studied in pedagogy with the Université Laval at the end of the Années 1960 before supplementing a Baccalauréat (1972) and a Maîtrise (1974) in sciences of the education of the Université of Quebec with Three-Rivers. It will carry out a Doctorat in school administration with the Université of Ottawa in 1979.

After a few years as professor and director during his studies, he will become director of department to the Université of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) during the Années 1970. He will be managing director of this academic of 1980 and 1981. He will make his entry with the the Council of Ministers on January 29th, 1996 in Quebec during the nomination of Lucien Bouchard like Prime Minister. Bouchard will entrust the ministry for the municipal Businesses to him, posts that it will occupy until its re-election with the general election of 1998.

During this new mandate pequist, Trudel will truncate the municipal businesses for the Ministère of the Agriculture of the Fisheries and the Food. At the time of the resignation of Lucien Bouchard in 2001, the new chief of the Parti Québécois Bernard Landry will make take gallon with Trudel. It will be initially named Minister for Health and the Social services (2001 - 2002), then it will occupy several stations of the the Council of Ministers in bond with the businesses autochtones.

At the time of the arrival of the liberal to the government in 2003, Rémy Trudel will be demolishes, by: 674 votes, by Daniel Bernard.

After the defeat
