Rémy Grillot , born the March 11th 1765 with Navilly (Saône-et-Loire), military French.
Soldier the May 31st 1785 with the regiment of Picardy-Infantry (2nd with the weapon in 1793, 16th half-brigade of the same arms in year II, and 26e half-brigade in the year V), it became corporal the 1788, quartermaster sergeant on March 1st 1790, quartermaster-sergeant the July 26th 1791, and adjudant-under-officer, then lieutenant the April 10th and May 20th 1792.
He made, with distinciion, the campaigns of 1792 at year IV with the armies of North, of the Moselle, of the Rhine-and-Moselle, Armée with Mainz and of the Alps, was with the Siège of Thionville, was named captain executive officer on November 1st 1792, and accepted a light wound with the left leg with the Combat of Arlon the June 9th 1793.
Cité à l' business which took place in the Forêt of Hannau the 7 frimaire year II, like with Weissembourg, Landau and Kaiserslautern 11 meadow, it obtained the rank of adjudant-general major to the staff of the Armée with the Rhine-and-Moselle the 17 of the same month, was still distinguished with Mainz in the exit from the garrison from this place, the 11 floréal of the same year, and became chief of the 16th half-brigade of infantry the 1st messidor year III.

Restored his wounds, the Grillot general requested an active command in March 1813, it accepted an order of service to be employed, in the 2nd division of the 3rd Large army corps: he had the leg crashed to pieces by a ball of gun the May 2nd with the battles of Lützen, and died the shortly after the continuations of the amputation.
