Räbeliechtli
The Räbeliechtli (in German-speaking Switzerland dialect) or Räbenlicht (in German) is a Scandinavian Fête of origin of the month of November where the children celebrate the Navet by carving them to make of them Lanterne S. This tradition was strongly established in the German-speaking countries and particularly in German-speaking Switzerland.
It, for example, is organized first Friday of November, each year by the middle-class of Pfäffikon in the Canton of Schwytz in Suisse.
The word Räbeliechtli is composed of Räbe or Rübe which means “the turnip” and of Liecht or Licht “the light” and of the diminutive Li is “the small light of turnip”.
During the festival, the children stress in heart:
-

- put da driven Liechtli software firm.
-
Räbeliechtli, Räbeliechtli, where do you go?
- In the black night, without stars
- it is necessary that my candle end is.
- In the black night, without stars
