Râjshâhî

The town of Râjshâhî is the chief town of the province of Râjshâhî one of 6 administrative divisions of the Bangladesh. It is located on banks of the Padma river.

It counted 383.651 inhabitants with the census of 2001 for a surface of 96.69 km ² (density 3.678 h/km ²)

Râjshâhî is called the Cité of silk .
