Quotient of compression
The quotient of compression , also sometimes called ratio of compression , is a measurement of the performance of an algorithm of Data compression data-processing.
The degree of reduction of the size of the data obtained by a method of compression can be evaluated by means of the Quotient defined by the formula:
Q = initial size/final size
The stronger one compression will be, the more the quotient of compression will be him also high.
