Quiscale de Brewer
The quiscale of Brewer ( Euphagus cyanocephalus ) is a bird of America. The adult males have a black plumage and the feathers are irrisées on the top of the head; the plumage of the females is gray dark. The couple can nest in a tree, a meadow or a cliff, often in colonies. They nourish insects, seeds and bays.
Its French name pays homage to the ornithologist Thomas Mayo Brewer.
