Quintus Mamilius Vitulus
Quintus Mamilius Vitulus is a Roman politician third century BC, brother of Lucius Mamilius Vitulus (Consul in 265 av. J. - C.).
According to the tradition, its family, Plebeian, would not be originating in the princely family of Tusculum and considered to go down from mythical the Télégonos (wire of Ulysses and Circé) which founded the city (see the article on Tusculum).
In 262 av. J. - C., it is elected Consul. After the seat of the sicilian city of Agrigentum, with his/her colleague Lucius Postumius Albinus Megellus, it gains a victory over the Carthaginois come in reinforcement.
