Quierzy
Quierzy Cariciacum, Carisiacum, Charisagum, Karisiacum, Quierzy .
Quierzy is a common Département of Aisne, in the area of Picardy, crossed by the river Oise between Noyon and Chauny. Old royal villa and imperial it is now a peaceful village.

Castle of Quierzy, rebuilt in XVe century on the fortress of the bishops of Boundary-line. A tower is still visible. On the edge of Oise in direction of the station.

History
Chronology
- 605 : Death with Quierzy of Protade, Mayor of the palate of Thierry II of Burgundy.
- October 22nd 741: Charles Martel dies in Quierzy, mayor of the palates of Austrasie, Neustrie and Burgundy. The capacity is shared between its two sons Carloman and Pépin.
- Pip the Brief
- April 2nd 742: Probable birth with Quierzy of Charlemagne wire of Pip the Brief.
- 754 : Convinced by Chrodegang, Pépin makes adopt by the Concile of Quierzy the Roman liturgy and the Gregorian chant.
- January 754: Reception of the pope Etienne II by Pip the Brief in Quierzy. Signature of the Treated of Quierzy creating the Papal States by the donation of the Exarchat de Ravenne. The pope recognizes in counterpart the Carolingian dynasty . This donation is confirmed in 774, in Rome, by Charlemagne, wire of Pépin.
- 762 : Pépin spends the winter to Quierzy.

- 804 : The pope Leon III meets Charlemagne in Quierzy before going to Aachen.
- September 838: Council of Quierzy. Judgment of the monks of Saint-Calais (Diocese of Mans). Judgment of some of the liturgical opinions of Amalarius of Metz.
- December 842: Marriage with Quierzy of Charles the Bald person with Ermentrude of Orleans.
- 853 : Council of Quierzy chaired by Hincmar, archbishop of Rheims. Judgment of Gottschalk.
- June 16th 877: Capitulary of Quierzy. The loads comtales are made hereditary by Charles the Bald person before his departure for Italy. Birth of the Feudality.
- After 891: the Normands settle in the area.
Quierzy and its surroundings are completely destroyed by the Scandinavian invader. Hugues Capet, which will prefer to reside downtown, gives his grounds of Quierzy to the bishop of Boundary-line. This last made there build a fortress to deny oneself the powerful lord of Coucy. The ground passes then to the hands of Chérisy, then Montmorency, of Roye, of Halluin, Brûlart and Bussy-Rabutin until the Révolution.
