Quien será

Quien será (“Which will be (…?) ” in Spanish) is a Mambo composed in 1953 by the Mexican Pablo Beltrán Ruiz. It was adapted in English under the title Sway by Norman Gimbel.

In English, sway is a verb which indicates a movement of Danse where the rider made lean its partner. The English words evoke a couple of dancers evolving/moving on the rate/rhythm of the Marimba.

Words Spanish ask “Which will be that which will like me, which will give me its love, I do not know if I could find it, I do not know if I will be able to like again…”
