Quevauvillers

Quevauvillers is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.

Its inhabitants is called Quevauvillois.

Geography

Quevauvillers is located on the RN 29 and along has 29 (without in so far as an exchanger does not serve the commune directly), in the south-west of Amiens between this one and Pitch-of-Picardy.

History

The village of Quevauvillers appeared with the Roman epoch. Its first name was Equitum villa (residence of the riders), it was in fact a relay of cavalry whose creation was made necessary by the appearance of a Roman way connecting Amiens to Rouen. At the time of the great invasions Normans, the village was destroyed, but the commune was belonged some.
