Richard Neville (November 22nd 1428 - April 14th 1471), sixteenth Count de Warwick then sixth Count de Salisbury, so known under the name of Warwick or the nickname of maker of kings , is one of the most important characters of the Guerre of the Two-Pinks. He is the son of Richard Neville, fifth count de Salisbury.

He became count de Warwick at the age of blackjack years, after having married Anne Beauchamp, girl of the last count. Its influence on the young king Edouard IV of England gave him a great capacity, but the marriage of Edouard with Elisabeth Woodville in 1464 left Warwick without friends at the court.

Warwick had only two girls. The first, Isabelle, married George, duke of Clarence, brother of the king. The other girl, Anne, married Edouard, prince de Galles, wire of Henri VI. After its death, and that of her father, she married Richard, Duc of Gloucester, later Richard III of England.

Warwick decided to give its allegiance to the king Henri VI, prisoner with the Tour of London. It regained the throne for Henri, but after a few months, Edouard returned of his exile to Burgundy, and Warwick died in the Bataille of Barnet.

He exerted the function of Lord High Admiral with the head of the fleet, starting from the return of Henri VI in 1470, until his death.
