Queen Elizabeth II Stakes
The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes is a horse-race of dish being held in September on the Hippodrome of Ascot, with Ascot in England.
It is a race of group I reserved for the horses 3 years and more.
It is run on approximately 1.600 meters (1 mile). The edition 2007 is equipped with an allowance of 372.300 €.
The first edition goes back to 1955, and in 1971, during the introduction of the classification of the races in Group, it was classified Groups II of them. Promotion in race of Group I goes back to 1987. Due to work on the Hippodrome of Ascot, the edition 2005 was held with Newmarket.
Pink Bowl (1975-1976) and large the Brigadier Gerald (1971-1972) is the only horses to have gained the test twice. Dubai Millennium as for him was essential in 1999.
