Analyzes
This comedy (produced by the American cinema called “independent”) blames two opponents who are both ambitious to obtain the same station. One of the particular points of this film holds in what the film does not enter a comic opposition between a “good” and “bad”, but introduces two individuals in competition well, on comic and dramatic bottom. The “Québécois” reference would have been selected for an awakening on the American culture, for an American spectator, but without necessarily implying characteristics suitable for the Québécois culture, otherwise than in order to bring a certain exoticism.
Another challenge of film is harmoniously to amalgamate the really laughing moments at the more dramatic times.
