Quartet Adolphe Sax
The Quatuor Adolphe Sax of Paris (1981 - 1986) was a Quatuor of saxophones composed of Jacques Baguet, Claude Delangle, Jean-Paul Fouchécourt and Bruno Totaro.
It recorded 2 major pieces of the neo-classic repertory: Introduction and variations on a popular round of Gabriel Pierné and the quartet of Florent Schmitt.
It carried out a memorable round in Algérie (1984) where it gives to Tlemcen a remarkable interpretation of the quartet of Alfred Desenclos.
Creation of the quartet of Ichiro Nodaïra in Washington (1986).
Creation of the quintet with piano of Edison Denisov with Paris.
